Job Description
Looking for a passionate and creative social media executive to join the marketing team at Image Home, a retail Egyptian company where you will be working on local and international brands.
This position reports directly to the marketing manager, heading the marketing department.
Job responsibilities:
- Content creation & management on all social media platforms.
- Developing engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, to increase brand awareness and engagement and promote brand-focused messages.
- Growing audiences on social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Preparing monthly content calendars.
- Regular blogging, writing of catchy headlines on social media platforms.
- Researching new ideas, being up to date with new marketing tools and tactics as they develop to keep the brands alive and fresh.
- Evaluating and reporting on the success and effectiveness of campaigns.
- Launching optimized online adverts through Google AdWords', Facebook etc. to increase company and its brands’ awareness.
- Preparing online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
- Social media life coverage during all of the company’s special events, expos, activations etc.
- Providing creative ideas for content marketing.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
- Works with and supports the marketing manager with the monthly and annually marketing calendar.
- Liaising with external agencies such as PR/Publishing/Advertising/...etc
- Preparing reports, briefs, proposals and presentations.
- Managing websites content & articles
- Collaborating with other departments included and not limited to photographers, videographers and product designers) to coordinate actions needed for social media campaigns and daily posts.
- Delegating responsibilities to social media interns if needed.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
- Experience in a Marketing Communications role developing content and implanting campaigns
- Experience with digital marketing and advertising.
- Experience in campaign design and execution.
- Proven working experience in social media marketing
- Excellent writing skills, (writing portfolio required)
- Good social media photography & videography skills
- Knowledge of media productions
- Knowledge of SEO & SEM preferable
- Positive attitude, with good communications skills, multitasking and organizational ability
- Fluency in English
- Experience in using Photoshop, Illustrator is highly preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
