Job Description

The Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all marketing and communication initiatives across Zewail City, including the University, Research Institutes, and the Entrepreneurship Center. This role is pivotal in shaping and strengthening the institution’s brand identity, enhancing its reputation, and driving key objectives such as student enrollment, strategic partnerships, and industry engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with Zewail City’s vision and strategic goals.
  • Oversee multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, offline, PR, events) to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all Zewail City entities.
  • Drive targeted enrollment campaigns aimed at prospective students and parents, with tailored messaging for STEM and higher education audiences.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with schools, universities, industry stakeholders, and media outlets to expand outreach and collaboration.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including content creation, design, analytics, outreach, and admissions support.
  • Supervise marketing budget planning, allocation, forecasting, and ROI analysis to ensure efficiency and impact.
  • Represent Zewail City at educational fairs, industry conferences, and external stakeholder meetings to promote institutional initiatives and offerings.
  • Manage internal and external communications, ensuring a consistent and unified brand voice across all platforms and materials.
  • Align marketing strategies with the goals of the Research Institutes and the Entrepreneurship Center to promote innovation and outreach efforts.
  • Support fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership development initiatives with effective marketing resources and materials.
  • Report directly to the Vice Executive President for Institutional Advancement, providing strategic insights and performance metrics for executive decision-making.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marketing and business development, ideally within the higher education, research, or innovation sectors.
  • Proven track record in leading high-performing teams, managing marketing budgets, and executing large-scale, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, with demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing tools, SEO/SEM, CRM platforms, and performance analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English, with strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach to implementation and problem-solving.
