Job Description

responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for carrying out and monitoring all electrical-related work on site.
  • Estimates prepare and allocate resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to implementation, especially HVAC works.
  • Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Assistant. Project manager for approval prior to implementation on site.
  • Interprets construction drawings and studies contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to carrying out any jobs.
  • Directly manages and provides engineering and technical support to all electrical work groups on site.
  • Plans execution of all electrical-related works and coordinates works for mechanical and civil groups.
  • responsible for the implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related operations at the site as per approved drawings, methods and safety rules.
  • design the mechanical components of a building, the air and plumbing systems within a building.
  • ensure the equipment is erected, pre-commissioned, tested, and commissioned in accordance with agreed contracts. Coordination with equipment suppliers is an important task during construction.
  • responsible for the records of the tasks, which will be the basis for troubleshooting later and may also impact the warranty claims.
  • supervises all installations of machines and equipment at the site.
  • Air Conditioning - installing/planning the air conditioning systems of buildings.
  • review the works produced by the design engineers and maintains necessary coordination with other discipline engineers for the smooth flow of projects.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of various machines used at the site, and ensuring proper erection and alignment of pumps and turbines.
  • Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates, and all applicable monitoring reports on a regular basis or as required.

Job Requirements

  • 10-15 years site experience in basic design requirements, estimation, installation and all site activities related to all Mechanical works for construction of large-scale building projects.
  • Education Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Follow the repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Performs other duties/special assignments as required or to meet the ongoing needs of the department
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
  • Responding to breakdowns.
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Supervising the technical staff.
  • Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
  • Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns.
