Job Description
- Lead the engineering and technical functions across multiple manufacturing locations within the group.
- Develop and implement unified engineering policies, systems, and procedures across all factories.
- Oversee the execution of mega projects, including new factory setups, machinery installations, and electro-mechanical systems integration.
- Manage and support engineering teams with solid and dotted-line reporting structures across different business units
- Evaluate and optimize technical performance, machinery efficiency, and infrastructure capabilities.
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure effective coordination across diverse locations.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives and contribute to the group’s technological transformation.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and executive management to align project goals with business priorities.
- Monitor CAPEX/OPEX project budgets and ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial); Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, including senior leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in engineering management, factory infrastructure development, and large-scale project execution.
- Proven experience with multi-site engineering leadership, unified systems implementation, and machinery assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional and cross-location projects.
- Deep understanding of operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and modern industrial technologies.
- Proficiency in engineering software, project management tools, and ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
- Willingness to travel and engage with teams across various sites is essential.
