Job Description
- Supervises & participates in troubleshooting all electrical & mechanical systems and implementing, monitoring the related installations and maintenance in accordance with the projects construction drawings, contract documents, projects specifications, and other related standards.
- Inspects MEP works in the projects, and report status, required modifications and related requirements.
- Executes regular maintenance plans in addition to preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for various electrical & mechanical systems such as (HVAC, firefighting, pumps, elevators, pools, equipment, plumbing, drainage, etc.)
- Performs technical administration works like issuing quotations, invoices, RFI, T.O.C inspection requests, purchase requests, monthly reports like invoices reports, projects status reports, etc.
- Supervises the daily operations, reviews routine checklists, coordinates schedules as per priority, scope and emergency to ensure solving/reporting any unexpected technical issues, and other problems that may arise to the direct manager for discussion and proper solution.
- Coordinates with related teams in case of add-ons or modifications and prepares shop drawings for add-ons, quantity surveys and its invoice breakdown as per company pricing policy, and to execute all activities structurally and meet the clients’ expectations in terms of quality and cost.
- Prepares the pricing comparison sheets between suppliers in accordance with pre-estimate & benchmark prices to make sure that materials are within budget and cost effective.
- Determines maintenance requests whether under warranty or not and prepares reports in case of any defects that happened during the warranty period and estimate the cost of repairs to be invoiced to the projects team in order to avoid mistakenly applying costs on the clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics & Electrical Power Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in the same position and field.
- Proficient AutoCAD & MS Office Excel.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
- Client oriented.
- Excellent command of English language (written & spoken).
