Job Summary
New Era Education is seeking a Help Desk Officer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate shall provide technical support and assistance to users who are experiencing issues with computer systems, hardware, or software.
Responding to client support queries in person, over the phone, or via remote access.
Tracking, routing, and redirecting problems to the appropriate resources.
Applying best practices and effective workarounds to resolve technical issues following proper diagnosis.
Responding to queries and providing technical assistance regarding the delivery, configuration, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
Following up with users, providing feedback, and ensuring that problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Help Desk Officer or similar role
- Advanced competency in software, database and remote control tools
- In-depth knowledge of IT Systems
- Fluency in English (Written and verbal communications skills)
- Advanced customer service and problem solving skills
- Collaboration and communication abilities
- Relevant training and/or certifications
