Job Description
- Applies internal controls (including authority matrix) and accounting policies & procedures for Payroll and other HR/employees’ related payments
- Processes employees’ payment requests (Business trips, loans, advance payments etc.)
- Ensures timely payments to Government (including GOSI and MOI)
- Ensures timely and accurate payments to suppliers’/service provider related to HR & HRS
- Reviews monthly payroll and ensures accuracy of it
- Records payroll, employees’ and HR/HRS related accounting entries
- Prepares monthly payroll reconciliation and payroll analysis reports
- Reconciles GLs VS Sub-ledgers for employees’ related expenses and liabilities
- Prepares data required by actuary for liability valuation purposes
- Participates in ongoing drive for simplification & automation
- Ensures timely completion of month-end closing tasks related to payroll, other employees’ related expenses and liabilities raises red flags for any irregularities
- Assists in periodic audits
- Handles other ad hoc tasks within finance when required
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Finance
Experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in accounting function
