Job Description

Job Purpose

Roles at this level are involved in daily tasks under supervision providing day to day assistance and service to users at the campus and dorms. Providing a higher level of support for users by diagnosing the problem and guiding users with solutions

Job Responsibilities

  • Contributing to providing technical support for machines and equipment and organizing their operation.
  • Assisting in guiding users on the setup of audio and video systems and working on troubleshooting.
  • Helping in documenting all technical issues and preparing maintenance reports for classrooms, auditoriums, and meeting rooms.
  • Identifying and repairing all audio and video equipment (audio and video cables and connections, microphones, speakers, display screens, lighting control devices, recording devices, data show devices, and sound mixers).
  • Maintaining all audio and video equipment in halls, classrooms, and auditoriums, and preparing them for full use at any time.
  • Pre-arranging and assembling all devices to be placed back in their correct location and good condition.
  • Performing assigned tasks with the utmost skill, precision, efficiency, and completeness.
  • Ensuring that the control rooms in the theater building are always clean and organized.
  • Focusing on any updates requiring new audio and video systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Participating in recording audio and video at important events.
  • Ensuring that tools and equipment meet specifications before use.
  • Supervising the setup of audiovisual equipment in meeting rooms.
  • Ensuring the operation of audio and video equipment.
  • Adhering to attendance procedures and time management according to work schedules and the possibility of activities after working hours and on weekend.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachler of computer science or information System, study ITIL
  • Experience: 2+ Years Help desk (Audio & Video) 

Technical Skills:

  • MS products (MS office-Windows 8, 8.1 and10), Hardware troubleshooting software installation and troubleshooting, OS installation, drivers, and windows updates
