Job Description

  • Develop internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance related to key supply chain requirements such as planning procedures, purchasing (foreign & local), supplier qualifications, quality control, logistics, inventory management and distribution.
  • Sourcing of new products.
  • Follow up on production with special emphasis on pilot batches to ensure production according to plan.
  • Control and create planning/supply chain plans and reports.
  • Demonstrate significant expertise in contract negotiations with the suppliers and contract manufacturers and cost management.
  • Creation and management of vendor list for all vendors.
  • Manage supplier performance and develop more than 3 sources for each API. 
  • Register and approve 3 for each API.
  • Lead strategic supplier relationship management to continually identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities. 
  • Supply all of R&D / RA need to confirm the execution of pipeline plan on time, lead and manage all processes and procedures related to pipeline development and registration. 
  • Create Strategic production plan and budget for all purchasing requirements and purchasing plan cost and timelines by October of each year and review it monthly. 
  • Build up in-house data base of supply chain, including purchased items, finished products, suppliers contact details and their products, suppliers per each purchased item, PO formats, and inventories, toll manufacturers details capacities, and equipment.
  • Keep all purchased items and inventory with no shortages, stock rupture nor overstocked. Monitor stock level.
  • Lead all corrective and preventive actions to help the organization to achieve their objectives.
  • Effective reporting for the top management regarding the contract manufacturing status / inventory level / cost inputs / purchased items /pipeline status. 
  • Maintain relationships with various business functions across the organization including sales & marketing, legal, quality, registration and finance. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in pharmaceutical science or Science
  • Working experience +7 years of which at least 2 as Supply Chain Manager
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Organization Skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • Strategic Management & Planning.
  • English Fluency and French will be an asset
