Job Description
- Ensures appropriate quality controls procedures are in place, and follows up with concerned parties on controls implementation>
- Oversees technical quality control and quality inspection activities>
- Controls cost of quality initiatives (e.g., adoption of quality standards) to comply with established budget.
- Identifies and tracks key KPIs for service quality, and devises plans and initiatives for improvement.
- Interfaces with OEM to receive updated service quality guidelines (e.g., testing procedures, quality control checklists, etc.).
- Interacts with Manufacturing on significant or recurrent quality issues in line of products.
- Works closely with service center to identify quality issues and to implement quality control procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
- Interacts with and manages direct reports and operational issues on a daily basis.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Engineering with applicable quality certifications .
- 10+ years of broad automotive technical experience .
- Strong analytical skills with working knowledge in quality improvement methodologies and projects.
- Ability to respond to the clients and anticipate their needs.
- Works to resolve differences and maintain work relationships.
- Ability to evaluate according to accepted methodologies.
- Strong people management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills.
