Job Description
General:
- Achieve the annual objectives.
- Staff Management (Performance, technical awareness, productivity, actions and behavior, employee retention)
- Prepare annual budget.
Financial Perspective:
Revenue
- Develops business development strategies and creates annual business development plans for the relevant areas to reach required business objectives and revenue.
- Prioritizes market segment development activities and sets revenue targets.
- Setting of annual purchasing and sales targets to meet the company’s objectives.
- Setting individual annual sales targets to achieve the section objectives.
- Manage and drives sales of section’s products through an indirect revenue stream to maximize revenue and achieve the annual approved target.
- Conducts monthly sales performance reviews to redirect shortfalls.
Expenses
- Develop an annual promotional budget (marketing, advertising…..etc), to optimize expenses and meet the company’s strategic objectives.
- Monitors the budgeted expenses to alert concerned parties and redirect over-expenditure.
- Implement effective headcount management to optimize the section headcount cost.
Profitability
- Develops and implements territory and key account sales strategies aimed at strengthening the company's market position and profitability; identifies business opportunities, and pinpoints problem areas.
- Investigates and selects profitable product lines within guidelines outlined in the marketing strategy.
- Advises on any potential risks to the profitability or existence of the contracted/potential agencies to secure the annual budgeted target and potential profit maximization.
- Negotiate new contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Achieve Targeted profitability per product line.
Account Receivable
- Monitors execution, including credit lines established for customers and status of accounts receivable aligned with the internal financial policy.
Customer Perspective:
- Searches for, identifies, and develops leads from lists, publications, and given information to increase market share in the territories.
- Analyzes customer trends such as customer segmentation, demographics, and market share to increase customer base.
- Plans how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products
- Setting a market share target to maximize the current market share per product.
- Managing prospective clients and engaging with them to maximize sales
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Achieve targeted customer profitability.
Internal Process Perspective:
- Directs the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts,….etc., and evaluates data to ensure sales goals are met.
- Conduct periodical meeting with sales staff, and periodical sales performance review with top management to provide resolution and redirect shortfalls.
- Achieve operational excellence through developing process improvement methodologies.
Learning and Growth Perspective:
- Conduct technical training to ensure full awareness of products.
- Deliver all technical information about the products to the staff.
Job Requirements
- BSc of Pharmacy/Veterinary/Business Administration or equivalent (division to be considered)
