Job Description

  • Compile or develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations.
  • Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events.
  • Secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors.
  • Prepare materials for charitable events, such as fundraising envelopes, bid sheets, or gift bags.
  • Create or update donor databases.
  • Participate on establish fundraising goals for special events or specified periods.
  • Identify and build relationships with potential donors.
  • Monitor progress of fundraising drives.
  • Attend community events, meetings, CSR, or conferences to promote organizational goals or solicit donations or sponsorship.
  • Implement fundraising activity plans that maximize participation or contributions and minimize costs.
  • Develop or implement fundraising activities, such as annual giving campaigns or direct mail programs.
  • Write speeches, press releases, or other promotional materials to increase awareness of the causes, missions, or goals of the organization.
  • Conduct research to identify net worth, history of charitable donations, or other data related to potential donors, potential investors, or general donor markets

Job Requirements

  • Relevant university degree in fields of management, education, or any other relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Work experience with I/NGO is encouraged.
  • A team player, able to work collaboratively with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and complex work program within deadlines
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Excellent computer literacy mainly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
