Job Purpose:
The Budgeting and Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s budgeting system, policies, and processes and working with department\faculty budget owners to create and monitor operating budgets.
Job Description
- Designs effective budget models for departments and analyzing financial information to ensure all operations are within budget.
- Reviews budget requests for approval.
- Designs reporting package to control review Monthly Financial Reporting Packages (budget, Forecasts, Actuals, Cash flows, Analysis Reports)
- Performs variance Analysis, determine reasons for these variances and proposing solutions to eliminate the variances and mitigate the risk. Ensuring all figures are accurately recorded
- Creates a reporting cycle accurate, efficient & easy to understand with the department managers to meet reporting submission deadlines.
- Presenting annual budget & monthly reporting packages.
- Develop & update Feasibility studies for investment plans according to the management strategies.
- Design & develop special analysis reports & PPT for Top Management to assist in decision making process.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Job Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Experience not less than 10 years.
- Proven work experience as a Budgeting & Reporting Manager
- Excellent experience with accounting software, statistical packages & advanced MS.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
