Job Description
Duties And Responsibilities
- Recruit and manage a high-performing people team, including generalists, talent acquisition, HR business partners
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the delivery of all generalist HR activities covering resource planning, employee retention, employee development, compensation, benefits, systems administration,, organizational change management, and other services
- Liaise with subject matter experts within the broader business (e.g. operations, sales, and other external legal authorities) to collaborate, provide guidance and streamline where possible
- Work with the organization leadership team to build and implement People solutions to continue driving engagement and productivity, and foster Airwallex culture
- Develop and implement new policies, practices and programs to meet organizational and operational and strategic goals.
Job Requirements
General Qualifications
- A skilled HR professional with 7+ years of experience in similar positions, preferably in the ICT industry, and previous experience in a tech startup is a must.
- Experienced implementing and maintaining systems and frameworks (payroll, employee benefits, and schemes) with strong knowledge of employment law (forms, pensions, and taxation)
- Experienced in the functional areas of organization development, talent management, change management, and total rewards)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships through all levels of the organization including executives, business partners, functional managers, and peers
- A high-energy individual willing to get involved in all aspects of HR that can drive organizational change, talent development, and bottom-line growth
- Ability to function well independently, demonstrate ownership and self-sufficiency for project management, and the achievement of agreed-upon results
- A strong and confident communicator with an ability to drive local HR gatherings and events
