Job Description
We're recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer for a pioneer in real estate crowdfunding fintech platform in the MENA region, that to be one of their long term in-house team.
- Manage DevOps duties across the engineering department supporting multiple development squads.
- Design and build end-to-end DevOps processes and implementations.
- Follow best practices and leverage best in class tools for CI/CD and infrastructure management and automation on an open-source and cost-effective technologies as appropriate.
- Automate application build, test, deployment, and release/delivery processes.
- Automate cloud infrastructure procurement, monitoring, and scalability.
- Partner with application development teams and support their software development life cycle.
- Create guidelines, processes, and reusable templates and coach teams on becoming adept at DevOps practices.
- Select and balance the right tools for the job based on the team’s current environment, technology stack, culture, and potential future needs.
- Champion DevOps best practices across the engineering team and stakeholders across the whole company.
Job Requirements
Must Have:
- 3 Years of Practical Experience as DevOps Engineer / Preferred in Fintech or E-Payment or E-commerce Industry.
- Experience in Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Pipe-lining for PHP Projects).
- Experience in using TFS Automation tools.
- Experience in Containerisation with Docker.
- Experience in one of Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience in one of Monitoring Tools (ELK Stack, New relic, Datadog, Prometheus).
- Experience in System Testing/Unit Testing.
- Experience in using Management Gateways/Load Balancer (Kong, ELB).
- Experience in using Micro Services (Kafka & Rabbit MQ).
- Experience in using Cloud Services (Oracle).
- Using task management tools (Jira/Trello).
- Scripting Language (Bash).
- Source control versioning tools (GIT, GIT Hub, Bitbucket).
- Agile Methodologies.
Preferred Technical Skill as Plus:
- Advanced Cyber Security Background
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes Cluster)
- Scripting Lang (Python)
