Sales Manager (6 Months Contract)

Job Description



The Role



This position is responsible for revenue generation from new and existing customers within the Pharma portfolio in Informa Markets. This role will manage Sales to different tier customers depending on the market and brand context.
The role will involve a combination of internal and external sales activity, meeting customers face to face and attending competitor events. He/ She will sell to valued existing customers, generate new business, and performance will be evaluated based on achieving revenue and new business targets.

Job Summary/Responsibilities



Securing new business, including stand sales and sponsorship. Managing and developing complex sponsorship packages. Establishing and maintaining customer pavilions, partners, associations and agent relationships. Support the management of a successful rebooking campaign. Complete a weekly update to Event Director on direct reports, focusing on sales highlights, target progression and team members development. Prepare weekly reports detailing achievements within the week and projections are for the next week. Ensure accurate exhibitor pipelines are presented to managers, and support with reviews and analysis. Liaise with credit control team for debt management.

Qualifications



Essential:



Educated to degree level or equivalent. Significant & successful experience in a sales roles. Commercial Awareness. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communicator. Numerate with strong Attention detail and ability to manage a sales team.

Desirable:



Awareness of exhibition sales. Tele-sales. Media sales, or exhibition background
