Job Description

  • Formulate and implement strategies for academic growth, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of academic programs.
  • Lead accreditation efforts, ensuring that programs meet national and international accreditation standards.
  • Supervise the design, development, and ongoing improvement of academic programs, particularly IT-related programs, ensuring industry relevance and global standards.
  • Hire, train, and manage academic staff, ensuring high teaching standards and fostering professional development.
  • Develop and improve academic processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and program delivery systems.
  • Oversee the integration and development of IT-related programs, ensuring they align with current trends and technological advancements.
  • Ensure the development of support structures to improve student outcomes, including retention, graduation, and employability rates.
  • Ensure that academic programs and faculty meet regulatory requirements and report on academic performance and achievements.
  • Represent the institution at academic forums, build relationships with external partners, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Lead the academic department, collaborating with faculty and other departments to meet institutional goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance academic programs, particularly IT programs, to ensure the institution remains competitive and responsive to industry needs.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Design, or a related field.
  • Ph.D. in Education or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15–20 years of experience in academic program development, educational consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating successful academic programs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team of academic professionals, including curriculum developers, trainers, and consultants.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and educational technology tools.
