Job Description
Path Solutions is looking to hire Senior QA Engineer for its development center in Maadi , Egypt.
Major duties & responsibilities :
- Create detailed, comprehension and well-structured test cases and scenarios.
- Assists & Review Test Cases and Results of his/her peers.
- Conduct functional testing based on functional requirements specification, test cases and scenarios and document test results.
- Reproduces bugs reported by clients and document test results and observations.
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression)
- Executes the allocated tasks as per the schedule.
- Prepare and review release notes for all releases / builds.
- Collaborates closely with other team members and departments
- Work closely with the business unit to analyze the user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity, feasibility and estimation.
- Capable of training others in both formal and informal situations and share the functionality knowledge of the module to his/her peers in the department.
- Ensure that all testing related activities are carried out as per the defined standards and according to the company procedures.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must show proficiency in critical and analytical thinking.
- Should be detail oriented, focused and have a lot of enthusiasm with an aim to achieve overall Organizational Objective.
- Understand fluently the business and the various testing tools.
- Be a good problem detective.
- Technical and business experience is a must.
- Capability of working towards tight deadlines and attention to details.
- Acts as a strong team player
- Good time-management skills
- Non-functional testing (automation, security and performance) is a plus
