- Contribute to the development and promotion of the hospital’s general vision, aims and strategic objectives.
- Assist the top management in setting & cascading targets on all hospital departments ensuring that all are based on historical data and applicable in regards to medical behavior forecasting.
- Assist all department heads ,quality assurance; pharmacy, infection control, safety and medical care committees in setting and obtaining objectives for the improvement of the quality of medical care and resource utilization.
- Make sure that target and tasks distributed by each line manager to his/her subordinates are compatible with hospital policies& guidelines, overall targets expected by strategic plan, and matches with the core function of each section.
- Analyze all services and offers whether running or newly proposed for implementation against the strategic plan and take decisions to support Andalusia brand.
- Review progress and activity reports delivered by all hospital managers or staff members, assess effectiveness of operations and actions taken, and determine the need for improvement and corrective actions accordingly.
- Evaluate the performance of hospitals’ department heads on a regular basis according to policy and as requested, based on the set and agreed KPIs, targets and expected achievements, etc.
- Follow up on the delivery of projects’ milestones on time as planned, with high levels of accuracy and effectiveness.
- Monitor the development of the hospital expense budget and assures conformance with budgetary guidelines set by the strategic management.
- Participate in the development of all policies and procedures related to medical practices, quality & infection control measures, general policies for non-medical approaches; along with periodic evaluation of already running policies regarding effectiveness & compliance level and make sure each is aligned with the official governmental obligations.
- Plan for and ensure the appropriate utilization non-medical human resources through all hospital’s departments.
- Plan for and ensure the appropriate utilization of medical services & offers generated by the hospital to encourage customers’ action and high utilization levels along with improving the charge per visit subsequently.
- Ensure providing the best medical service rendered to patients by regular monitoring for quality and appropriateness by overseeing documentation and care planning.
