Job Description
The F&B Cost Controller (FBCC) shall be responsible for accurately tracking, digitising, evaluating and reporting the purchases, dispenses and consumption of all F&B materials in the restaurants under management. The FBCC shall work closely with the Purchasing Manager, Finance Team, Operations team and CEO to ensure all restaurants are operating within accepted food cost margins, minimising loss and following proper procedures.
Responsibilities
- Tracking
- Follow up and enforce procurement procedures
- Digitise all purchases, consumption and inventory counts in the systems
- Assist in inventory counts when necessary
- Evaluating
- Routine follow up with relevant teams on optimising the procurement/dispensing procedures
- Establish Theoretical vs Actual costs on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Investigate and ascertain discrepancies in actual vs theoretical costs
- Reporting
- Prepare weekly procurement, dispensing and inventory reports
- Prepare monthly F&C Cost Analysis reports based on Theoretical vs Actual costs
Job Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous Cost Control experience in the hospitality industry
- Very detail oriented
- Very organised and efficient
- Strong computer and software skills
- Confident and strong personality as the job entails tracking other team members
- Very strong language skills Arabic/English
- Ability to work in teams but can also work well without supervision
- Strong communication skills
