Job Description
- Establish the training strategy of the whole school.
- Manage and implement staff assessment tools.
- Attend evaluation interviews and advise on promotions and job transfers.
- Set up a needs analysis and determine with the administrative director and the director of human resources the specific needs for professional training.
- Collect information and analyze current vocational training to plan the annual budget.
- Set up annual training plans and programs.
- Choose training procedures or methods.
- Ensure that new employees have benefited from the administrative training, vision and mission, administrative procedure and training provided by the department head and orientation.
- Train trainers on effective training methods such as how to refer a new employee, etc. (and establish a check-list of orientation for new employees)
- Look for external speakers to animate the trainings.
- Regularly check the IB website to find out about the different courses offered by the IB (training abroad, in-service training, training provided by other IBO schools, online courses, etc.) with all information and procedures relating to training.
- Organize all BI courses (registration, travel, hotels, pocket money, ...).
- Follow the progress made during the months following the training.
- Ensure that all employees have completed at least one training during the year.
- Prepare a report for the Human Resources Branch following each training including: participants, training form, evaluations, satisfaction / evaluation graphs and a report consisting of an analysis and recommendations.
