Job Description

  1. Study Project Documents (Contract – BOQ – Specs) to determine the requirements and to define the scope of work and determine risks allocated within the project.
  2. Validate the received data from tender department to ensure full understanding of the costing principles used in the tender phase and upload forms required by Oracle ERP system.
  3. Budgeting, prepare expected cash flow allover projects period & executing all the cost control functions.
  4. Use potential variation orders and the historical data of the material or labor consumption for the same material used in the project to issue an operational budget.
  5. Prepare the control sheets to control the costs & quantities during the project.
  6. Collect and validate the data from planning section, procurement department and Finance department concerning the cash movement of the projects.
  7. Revise and approve of purchase order that ensure:
    the unit rates, the purchase order amount, discounts from suppliers and actual cash flow impact.
  8. Initiate NCR and follow up for any issues relating to cost, quantities or specs for any item.
  9. Review the project invoice received from QS section.
  10. Evaluate the Bid submitted by subcontractors to ensure scope validation cost matching.
  11. Issue and manage variation orders.
  12. Follow up on LGs status to ensure that its amount are diminished regularly and contractually.
  13. Prepare and initiate closeout report for each project to highlight the lessons learned and to collect historical data for upcoming projects.
  14. Review the rate of progress and identify any issue or obstacle hindering the progress of work and propose.
  15. Recommend and implement necessary measure or recovery plans to ensure timely completion of site activities.
  16. Track actual costs versus budgeted costs, recommend cost reduction and control measures.
  17. Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training. 
  2. Experience from 1 to 4 years in same field.
  3. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  4. Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting.
  5. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  6. Ability to handle data from multiple sources.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization.
  8. High Organization and details-oriented Skills.
  9. Logical thinking and good assumptions mastery.
