  • “MARAKEB” is an integrated boating service provider offering a complete list services including; Marina Services, a professional maintenance workshop, a store for marine and boating accessories & a list of complimentary services, events and organized trips all planned to help our clients build memories
    with their loved ones.
  • “MARAKEB Marina – Cairo” is fully operational for over 5 years now. And in early 2020 we
    should open our 2 nd branch in Sokhna (120km from Cairo on the shores of the Red Sea).

Job Description:

  • A fun, challenging opportunity to work in the field of boats, yachts and marine accessories sales and marketing throughout Egypt.
  • We are seeking an energetic person that has previous experience working in sales with some knowledge of boats. This is a commission based position which will work under a Leisure Marine Division Head.
  • We are looking for someone who is an energetic self-starter who is looking to grow with our business and be a key member of our team.
  • This individual must be eager to learn the Boating business. And be able to sell all the fun related to it to clients.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of boats (New, Used & Brokerage) and marine equipment and supplies, such as water-sports equipment fixtures, pumps, instruments, cordage, paints, and motor parts.Responsible for input and management of required sales information into our Customer
  • Relationship Management system.
  • Responsible for managing the entire sales process for new and used boats until it turn into a sale.
  • Responsible for ongoing and after sales client care.
  • Participation in sales meetings and sales reporting on a weekly basis.

Duties

  • Shows boat on sales floor or shows catalog pictures and blueprints.
  • Explains construction and performance of boat and differences between various types of marine equipment.
  • Advises boat owners on selection of new equipment and problems pertaining to repairs.
  • Responsible for sea trials.
  • Responsible for managing the complete sales process including; delivery, registration, and inspection of boat.
  • Required to manage the client’s expectations and work with them on price adjustments.
  • Responsible for assisting in the closing of the sale and the handling of funds and escrow.
  • Responsible for assisting in making sure all the closing documents are completed on the sale.
  • Manages inbound leads, research new leads, and arrange meetings and visits to potential clients.
  • Responsible for participation in events.
  • Responsible for sending update newsletters to clients on performance data.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting and attendance at sales meetings.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience required in service related industry
  • Experience in Yacht Sales, Luxury products or Real Estate Sales an asset
  • Some knowledge of boats required (Full training will be provided)
  • Proficiency and experience with computers and mobile devices and working with software applications
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills as this is a service driven business
  • Internet search literacy and technically savvy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Physical ability for outdoor sports specially water sports.
  • Expertise in boating or water sports required

Working Hours:

  • It is a 40hrs/week job, however due to nature of the business, you might be required to work weekends,
  • National holidays and travel extensively throughout coastal areas in Egypt.

Location:

  • Cairo Aswan Agriculture Road, 3.5Km South of Mounib Square.
