Job Description

Responsibility 1: Manages the availability of financial resources for HI Egypt

  • Supporting the budget managers to elaborate accurate monthly cash forecast
  • Compiling the monthly cash forecast from all budget managers and send it to the Finance manager for subsequent action with close collaboration with the accountancy team

Responsibility 2: Supports the budget holders manage budget updates and allocation, including for partners

  • Extracting the budget monitoring and follow up on monthly basis and whenever required
  • Supporting the budget holders in updating their monthly forecast and update the needs in the finance software as needed
  • Updating monthly indicators
  • Carrying out manual budget changes including analytical modification, updating FBSC and resource number, forecast amount in Navision
  • Preparing financial time sheets for donors according to HI processes and donor requirements.
  • Ensuring proper filing of donor documentation (contracts, amendments, diverse communication etc.)
  • Preparing the allocations documents for  the health insurance, staff costs, social security
  • Elaborating, updating and implementing allocation tables not only of staff costs but also including other running costs such as car and office rent, communication, utilities, maintenance, stationeries and supplies

Responsibility 3: Assists the finance manager and regional finance controller in preparation of financial audit and donor financial report

  • Contributing to pulling out financial documents such as donor contract, partner contracts from the archive for audits
  • Compiling and checking audit requirements from other departments prior to submission 

Job Requirements

  • University graduate in the field of accounting or Finance 
  • At least 3 years experiences of accounting and/ or Finance
  • Previous work experience with I/NGO. 
  • Advanced in Arabic and English (French a plus)
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Good organizational skills 
  • Good oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent capacity in team work 
  • Excellent adaptability.
