Job Description
The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's supply chain, logistics, Procurement, Trucking, Warehousing, Chartering and Execution strategies and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.
- Develop, deploy and improve Supply chain capabilities
- Develop, deploy and improve necessary capabilities to improve supply chain execution in the business
- Provide value in the business by assessing gaps in capabilities and/or performance, and guide the business to build necessary capabilities to execute with high standards and excellence.
- Work across the various locations to ensure key functions under supply chain are well understood and executed.
- Engage with CEO, trading desks and plant managers to understand the business strategy and assess supply chain design relative to executing the business strategy.
- Design core supply chain metrics, KPI’s and benchmark performance
- Focus on initiatives for driving higher performance and increased customer satisfaction, and lower costs.
- Networking and build strong relations with external stakeholders, such as governmental authorities
- Understand talent needs for high performance of the supply chain activities
- Identify, assess and develop supply chain talent needed across the business to support business goals.
- Ensure succession plans are in place for key supply chain positions.
- Design organization structure around strategic objectives.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in the Supply Chain preferred in related industry.
- Significant supply chain management experience (including people, change management, leading through influence)
- Possesses strong personal and professional credibility, integrity and ethics.
- Demonstrates strong strategic thinking and analytic skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects whilst deliver on growth targets
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, and ERP systems
- Proficiency with business financial processes including budgeting, P/L, income statements etc..
- Communicative, flexible, task oriented and committed.
- Excellent Arabic and English skills.
- University degree in finance, business administration, quantitative methods, economics.
