Job Description
- Performs regular supervision on the operations of biomedical equipment and tools, including imaging, laboratory, dialysis, and other equipment.
- Manage effectively human resource in the department, including:
1.Assignment of work tasks and responsibilities of department staff.
2. Scheduling of working load and hours/shifts for department staff.
2.Oversight and participation in planning for the department strategic and operational activities and Supervises establishment of database for equipment and consumable materials.
2.Scheduling periodic and preventive maintenance timetable. - Discussing and solving problems with manufacturing, quality, purchasing and marketing departments.
- Plans and supervises implication of engineering principles in attaining preventive and regular maintenance.
- Establishing standardized specifications for equipment to be purchased for the hospital Imaging Equipment and Identifying hospital Imaging Equipment requirements.
- Continuous qualifications of the used biomedical equipment.
- Directs operations and coordinates manufacturing, procurement, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Supervises application of safety measures in all equipment.
- Supervises preparation and provision of SOPs of biomedical equipment and equipment operations.
- Liaising with other concerned staff in the design team.
- Supervises the operations computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Monitors completed installations and observes operations for conformance to design and to create reference information for As Constructed documentation and future design.
- Provides periodic reports about his/her section to the higher hospital administration.
- Be familiar with using of equipment and tools listed below.
- Ensures good relationships with other biomedical and other hospital staff.
- Full participation in quality improvement activities and other staff activities as assigned within the Hospital.
- Observes professional ethical obligations within the Administration Department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in electrical or biomedical engineering Or electronic Engineer ins
- At least 5 years experience in biomedical field.
- Very good command in spoken and written English.
- Very good command in computer skills.
- Knowledge of , Electro mechanical and electronic fundamentals, medical equipment function and operation.
- interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with clinical staff, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Ability to write reports and make presentations on operational and technical issues.
