Job Description

  • Ensure that all sites in the company comply with the governmental requirements of the State to ensure that no violations or fines are imposed on the company in respect of occupational safety and health.
  • Ensure all chemicals hazards controlled also FF systems confirm with them.
  • Ensure the readiness of all sites to respond to various emergencies by providing the necessary equipment to respond to emergencies as well as the willingness of workers to deal with emergencies as appropriate.
  • Deliver the training for the front line staff.
  • Finding innovative solutions to solve unsafe situations I n different locations in order to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitor and follow up the performance of the occupational safety and health team in different locations and submit the required reports to the safety manager.
  • Identify the dangerous places in all facilities of the unit such as workshops, laboratories, laboratories and others.
  • Issue the necessary instructions related to protecting employees, preserving company property, and implementing recommendations of the company's safety committee.
  • Providing necessary safety or personal protective equipment and devices according to the nature of the work and training workers on how to use them.
  • Full supervision of safety supervisors to follow up and implement safety regulations and instructions by workers.
  • Supervising the availability of firewater and the safety and efficiency of the fire and alarm system.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and arrangement of the workplace and setting the necessary advisory and warning panels.
  • Training the employees of the company in safety, fire, first aid, and rescue work.
  • Investigate accidents and work injuries and make recommendations necessary to reduce them through awareness, education, training, and accountability for violators of safety regulations, and the development of regulations and instructions to protect them.
  • Record all observations seen on improper work behavior or insecure situations in the daily inspection list, open a special record of daily conditions and perform all necessary administrative work related to the Public Safety Department.
  • Submit a report to the manager within 24 hours of any work injury or accident, explaining the reason for its occurrence and the measures required to limit its recurrence.
  • Participate in various committees and according to the administration’s instructions.
  • Coordination with other departments and departments to ensure the performance of the department's work.
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures

Job Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 4-6 years’ experience in HSE specific in chemicals- firefighting.
  • An ability to analyze, solve problems and plan.
  • Knowledge of first aid, firefighting and rescue procedures.
  • The ability to use a computer
