Job Description
Background
Meeteasy is a start-up based in the UK currently developing a mobile application focused on facilitating individuals (within networks) to meet…easily. Meeteasy is a company in its infancy, development of the mobile application is expected to be complete in Q4 2021. As part of its business plan Meeteasy will launch the product and services it offers in Egypt. The aim will be to:
- Test the stability of the mobile application; use cases and user interactions;
- Refine products, services; and
- Execute the business plan.
Subject to a successful test launch in Egypt further launches will commence throughout the world.

Person specification
As the first (inhouse) member of the team you will be key to the company’s success. Meeteasy is looking for the right person rather than the most educated or most experienced. Attitude goes a long way. Put simply we want a superstar. To be successful in the role you must possess the following characteristics:

Meeteasy's target audience are females between the ages of 20-35 and therefore we would encourage female applicants. However this is not a prerequisite.

What you will be doing:
The question is what won’t you be doing? At any start-up you must want to be involved in anything and everything – this mentality is what we want in you. In the short term the role will be split up into three broad categories, all of which are subject to change.
| Assist in delivery of the business and project plan | Oversee or carry out tasks in the project plan. You will also assist or take responsibilities for workstreams with subtasks. The project plan has been split up into the following workstreams:

What the future could look like.
Initially you will be a contractor until a subsidiary in Egypt is incorporated (please see below statement). Once a subsidiary is successfully incorporated in Egypt and you are a permanent employee you will be offered the opportunity to be entered into a company 'employee stock option pool' (ESOP).
Please note that this ESOP has not been defined yet, but is in the project plan and subject to legal advice and will be subject to key metrics being achieved. The ESOP will be in place to ensure you know you're part of the Meeteasy family and to give you (as a dedicated Meeteasy family member) a share of the company!
Please note Meeteasy is a company incorporated in the UK. It does not have a presence in Egypt therefore this will not be an employment contract. Rather it will be a contract for services between Meeteasy and the individual rather than an employer - employee relationship. This means that the successful candidate will be required to be responsible for their own taxes, social insurance payments and other financial and regulatory obligations with respect to company law and or employment law. Put simply you will be a freelancer for the period of this contract until Meeteasy gains the necessary permissions to commence operations and commercial activities in Egypt. Please note that whilst operations are forecast to commence (and remain) in Egypt - Meeteasy (in its sole discretion) can at any time change its business model.
