Job Summary:
- SEFPP is seeking to engage the services of an MIS Manager. The MIS Manager is a full-time position based in Cairo office. S/he will be reporting to the Strategic Information Unit Director. The MIS Manager will be responsible for coordinating and providing technical assistance to MOHP FP Sector and National Population Council for the development of Health Management Information System. The MIS Manager will also be responsible for planning for and implementing SEFPP Management Information System (MIS). The MIS Manager will report to the SI Unit Director
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
1. MIS Responsibilities:
- Provide SEFPP with TA to select optimum mix of MIS modules and services.
- To advise on appropriate technologies to be used for MIS implementation.
- Manage the implementation of SEFPP MIS system.
- Support SEFPP to purchase ICT/Technology hardware and/or software.
- Manage SEFPP IT support.
- Produce Arabic and English MIS analysis and SOW.
- Other tasks as required/requested.
2. HMIS Responsibilities:
- To analyze and advise on HMIS development strategy and approach.
- Defined and documented H/MIS projects requirements and business processes
- Developed project plans, identifying key dates and resource requirements for the projects.
- Define software development project scope, objectives, staffing, resources and deliverables
- Develop project plans that identify key issues, approaches and performance metrics
- Plan and schedule projects timelines and milestones
- Formulate risk management and mitigation plans
- Track project deliverables
- Monitor quality assurance measures
- Manage and control projects budgets
- Develop and present reports on projects progress
- Maintain communication with projects stakeholders and manage expectations
- Participate in the discussions with FP sector and NPC to optimize H/MIS projects implementation and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- University degree in information systems, development or computer science.
- Software development skills are essential.
- At least ten years of experience in Information Systems field.
- Experience in Health Management Information System is a plus.
- Hands on experience on working with non-profit organizations.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and analytical skill.
- Hands on experience on many ERP platforms
- Sound experience in business analysis.
- Good English and Arabic language skills.
- Sound MIS experience.
- Strong attention to detail and focusing on task completion.
- Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills;
- Excellent documentation & report writing skills.
