Job Description
- End-to-end accountability of project delivery, ensure project objectives and milestones are met by the end of the project.
- Manage day-to-day activities to ensure IT projects meet organization goals and requirements.
- Lead the ongoing development, implementation, and consistent adoption of Project Management methodology, including processes, standard tools, and templates.
- Establish, build, and implement metrics and reporting dashboards for measuring project status around cost, timing, and progress of projects.
- Provide regular updates to the IT director on the progress, status, and key milestones of the project.
- Support project delivery teams with the understanding of business needs and requirements, determine potential, and define impact on other business units and systems.
- Highlight potential risks and mitigation actions; facilitate issues discussion, resolution, and escalation where necessary.
- Maintain an overall repository of deliverables and obtain sign-off at the end of the project.
- Develop and manage the Integrated Master Plan.
- Identify and track Interdependencies between projects.
- Develop & maintain a master calendar.
- Gain an understanding of business strategies, competitor technology, and stays abreast of industry trends in business and technology.
- Monitor program/project schedule, timelines, milestones, and delivery team performance.
- Monitor overall solution/implementation delivery for projects and oversees the IT strategic planning process.
- Ensure all business changes are adequately governed through effective impact assessment and supported by informed decisions through designated forums.
- Help in Enhancing the Business Process of the Organization.
Job Requirements
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification (PMP).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Know exactly how to build a project schedule.
- Identify, assess, and control risk.
- Make sure that the budget is realistic and can meet the financial needs of the project.
