Job Description
- Digitally cutting/assembling raw footage and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
- Combine visual footage with audio and sound effects (which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs)
- Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage
- Inputting motion graphics to enhance footage
- Receiving a script/outline
- Experimenting with styles and techniques (bonus: the design of graphic elements)
Bonus: understanding of how cameras, lighting, and sound recording works
Job Requirements
Video Editor Qualifications :
- Proficiency in editing software programs (Adobe Premiere - After Effects - Audition)
- Experience with Chroma Keying
- Creative eye for improvements
- The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
- Communication skills (both written and oral)
- Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, or previous experience in the field
