Job Description

  • Caduceus Lane is hiring an experienced Operations Manager, who will ensure meeting operational, financial, and business targets.
  • He/She will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of various internal functions, among other duties.
  • You will need to work directly with the stakeholders to ensure the overall health of the processes is good. Duties will include ensuring that standards for productivity and quality assurance are met our operational standards, taking part in planning, organizing and directing the work of others, outline procedures and instructions on work received, make time estimates on new jobs received, ensuring utilization of team is high, mentor and train new/existing team members
  • Caduceus Lane is seeking multitasking, process- and quality-oriented candidates, with excellent communication and leadership skills, and eager to be a part of Caduceus Lane’s ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing key managerial support and direction to all departments
  • Establish standard operating procedures to ensure optimal use of operations in an equitable and homogeneous manner
  • Responsible for implementing the applicable regulations, policies and policies related to the operating department
  • Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it
  • Assist upper management in decisions for expansion.
  • Engaging in budget development in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department
  • Analyzing operational issues, as well as preparing and submitting periodic reports to the Management
  • Quick in analyzing large set of data and interpreting insights
  • Set the vision, direction, and culture of the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals.
  • Ensures employees growth & development, set priority, drive motivation & engagement for employees
  • Responsible for productivity and quality of the operation - provide individual coaching feedback sessions, and have weekly one-on-ones with team members to improve performance and quality
  • Active participation in building the team & raising the bar in hiring process
  • Resource planning and managing external contractors and suppliers of services
  • Supporting the annual business planning process by implementing robust management reporting and information flow systems to enable progress to be monitored against targets and foster a culture of accountability
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of different strategies to ensure the effective recruitment, orientation, retention and continuing development of an engaged and high performing workforce
  • Contributing to the formulation and implementation of policies to ensure best practices across the workplace, as well as strengthening and maintaining the risk management framework, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant field (pharmaceutical /Scientific) background
  • Advanced MBA/Management or project management post graduate degree will be considered as an advantage.
  • At least 7 Years, Experience within Multinational pharmaceutical, Medical, or FMCG Corporate.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a managerial position
  • Fluency in English language
  • Professional flexibility to meet changing business needs
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Robust conflict management skills
  • Commitment to ethical behavior
  • Good knowledge of employment/ labor laws
  • Budget development and oversight experience
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus

Candidate background

  • 10-15 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Healthcare industry background is a plus
