Job Description
- Receive footage and/or a shot list, script.
- Make visits to the locations during filming to gain a sense of how the shooting is progressing.
- Assemble all raw footage, with camera shots in preparation for inputting into the computer.
- Input uncut rushes, sound, synchronize, store edit and finalize to create the final required outcome.
- Digitally cut files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what's usable and what’s not.
- Reorder and fine-tune the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
- Prepare events’ videos, burn on CDs for public distribution.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job’s speciality.
