Job Description

Job Duties:
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Develop strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and ensure the company maintains a strong presence
- Maintain working knowledge of the industry’s climate and competition to effectively implement the sales strategy.
- Help define sales job requirements, assist in the search for the best candidates and take part in the interview process.
- Providing sales team members with tips and training to achieve a competitive edge in the industry
- Orient the new sales staff and focus on improving the job performance and sales of existing staff.
- Assign tasks to the team members with the best skills for the job and guide staff members to ensure the work is done well.
- Set daily, weekly, or monthly sales goals in accordance with the branch quarterly sales targets.
- Motivate employees to reach individual sales goals and encourage the staff to work better and harder
- Understand the importance of praising and rewarding team members with a stellar job attitude and performance
- Prepare and deliver sales reports to management on team member performance and mission-related objectives.
- Set the overall direction of the sales department with the support and direction of Sales Manager.
- Oversee sales staff to ensure all job functions are being met and followed through upholding the highest quality of job performance, attendance and work attitude
- Create interest by controlling phone call scripts and customer-meeting checklists.
- Develop and implement a continuous evaluation process for sales employees to promote growth.
- Discuss and carry out sales employees promotions and disciplinary actions within Alternative Education’s policies in coordination with superior
- Monitor sales transactions to ensure the accomplishment of the branch’s financial targets.
- Take responsibility to achieve targets to support company and branch growth.
- Develop and implement plans to ensure the development and retention of sales personnel
- Prepare commission reports for sales employees in accordance with their sales performance.
- Assist sales staff in their day to day activities
- Develop and implement a plan for generating referrals and personally developed leads from current students, every phone contact and every interview
- Collaborate with superior to modify sales pipeline to improve customers’ retention and improve the performance of the sales department
- Develop and implement an aggressive plan to follow up on all applicants to meet or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Ensure the completion of all required forms for enrollment and schedule the registration.
- Follow up with students to meet their financial commitments according to Alternative Education’s policies.
- Maintain contact with current customers ensuring their satisfaction with Alternative Education’s programs.
- Accurately report sales forecasts to the Sales Manager.
- Achieve a minimum of 95% of sales targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
