Job Description
- Analysis and interpretation of collected infection control data
- Investigation and surveillance of suspected outbreaks of infection
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of infection prevention and control measures
- Education of individuals about infection risk, prevention and control
- Development and revision of infection control policies and procedures
- Management of infection prevention and control activities.
- Identify need areas for education of staff
- Involved in reviewing and updating infection control policies in conjunction with infection control specialist
- Carry out random environmental surveys and complete reports to identified problems
- Hospital rounds to ensure employees compliance to the infection control rules
- Involved in surveillance systems and information reporting through daily round activity
- Complete the necessary documentation on a routine basis as specified.
Job Requirements
- Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy degree
- 2 years of experience in infection control
- Certified professional in infection control
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent statistical analysis skills
