Job Description
- Preparing the annual plan for the external site stores department to determine the objectives and performance efficiency according to a specific timetable for discussion, presentation and approval by the stores manager.
- Distribution and follow-up of the implementation of the functional tasks to the employees of the department.
- Place the products inside the warehouses of the production sites in accordance with the requirements of quality, arrangement, good organization and cleanliness of the stores and inventory
- Follow up the movement of stock circulation, reviewing, documenting and approving all stock movements, with an emphasis on the fulfilment of all procedures, documents and signatures.
- Optimum utilization of storage capacities and controlling stock deviations.
- Arranging and preparing the periodic and annual inventory, providing inventory tools for inventory committees and workers in the department of productive sites stores, doing inventory matching, showing matching results and analysing deviation.
- Periodic follow-up of the volume and value of stock in general stores, and research methods of reduction and utilization.
- Ensure the safety of storage and ventilation for the warehouses of production sites and prepare a periodic schedule to follow up the cleanliness, arrangement and organization, with an emphasis on the availability and operation of all means of occupational health and safety in the scope under his administration.
- Follow-up and permanent and continuous review of the work procedures in each store individually in order to update and simplify the procedures in the store without prejudice to the custody of the store and the regulations, systems, policies and general rules in force.
- Follow-up and supervision of the means and equipment of transport, loading and handling in the department of warehouses of production sites and handing them over as custody and periodic maintenance books, following up on malfunctions, maintenance and cleaning of the equipment in a way that ensures the preservation of the equipment and its proper operation.
- Follow-up, supervision, communication and coordination with the Maintenance Department and the Engineering Department regarding construction, restoration, repair and maintenance works for the works needed by the department.
- Follow-up and supervision of the process of shipping and releasing the inventory of the warehouses of the production sites and the cars of the suppliers in the correct and recognized ways in a manner that preserves the safety and quality of the inventory until the housing in the warehouses of the productive sites and the exchange on the production authorities and the requesting parties with the follow-up of the delivery of the inventory in the required condition.
- Closing and approving the inventory journal, preparing daily reports for inventory and regular and agreed-upon reports, and submitting them to the stores manager.
- Preparing the schedule of field visits to public stores for review, control and supervision and approving it by the stores manager and submitting reports of visits, observations and corrective actions.
- Preparing a training and development plan to develop the technical and administrative competency of the employees under his leadership in coordination with the direct manager and human resources
- Preparing the performance evaluation of subordinates working in the department in coordination with the direct manager and human resources.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree.
- Experience at least 9 years.
- Males only
- Proficiency in the computer (word- excel) in order to create and design advanced programs.
