We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Pastry Chef to join our team and bring our vision to life.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Junior Pastry Chef at Madeleine, you will play a crucial role in creating our signature pastries and desserts. You will be responsible for preparing, and presenting a variety of high-quality pastries that are not only delicious but also visually stunning. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in pastry making, a keen eye for detail, and a strong artistic flair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pastry Preparation: Prepare a wide range of pastries, including tarts, cakes, and other French desserts, ensuring consistency and quality in every item.
  • Presentation: Ensure that all pastries are beautifully presented, demonstrating an artistic touch and attention to detail in every creation.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet Madeleine’s standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a high-end pastry shop, bakery, or restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of French pastry techniques and traditions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry arts is preferred.
