Overview

Performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, to receive, inspect, store and ship material, but not limited to receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records and report. Receives general direction or new assignment aspects and instructions as to how to perform required tasks and results expected.



Responsibilities
  1. Operates material handling heavy equipment as required to receive, store, process orders and ship material.
  2. Operate light and heavy equipment for loading and unloading of pallets.
  3. Assist shipping clerk in palletizing of supplies and equipment.
  4. Assist shipping clerk in the processing of required documentation to include an inventory of equipment that will be shipped out.
  5. Monitor and perform preventive measures to assigned equipment.
  6. Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Foreign National
    • A local driver’s license (Qatar) is required to operate heavy machinery
    • Obtain operator license for motorized pallet jack (walkie-rider)
  • Education/Experience:
    • High school diploma is required or equivalent.
    • Work requires two (2) years of shipping, receiving, stocking and warehousing experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education. Material Handling Equipment experience and training from a recognized institution.
  • Program Specific Requirements:
    • Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues.
    • Prior military experience a plus but not mandatory.
    • Able to communicate with customer.
