Job Description
- Use the company's clash matrix to conduct & produce full clash detection.
- Perform visual & Technical coordination between disciplines.
- Distribute the resulted clashes & conflicts to disciplines.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
- Responsible for stating and following up the Revit standards LOD300, and 400 and providing training to the office teams to use and apply those standards within the different construction packages.
- Perform QA/QC process on BIM Models/drawings before submissions.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
- Establish Checklists for QA/QC processes.
- Work with project teams to develop and implement Building Information Models.
- Troubleshoot any BIM-related issues that may arise.
- Technical support for all the Revit team users of the office team.
- Assist project teams with modelling for the families needed within the project.
- Assist the project team with model visualizations.
- Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration.
- Training new team members on BIM processes and maintaining the BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, apply and follow up the Bim planning of the firm.
- Prepare the Revit technical specialist report, which is required to be a part of the firm prequalification documents.
- Provide insight into new time-saving methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architecture Engineering.
- 3+ years' experience as a BIM engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of CAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
- Solid Experience with various MEP systems.
- Aware of various BIM standards.
- High attention to details.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
- Flexible attitude.
