Job Description

  1. Ensuring all branches operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
  2. Providing business excellence through Improving branches operational management systems, processes and implementing best practices.
  3. Helping the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
  4. Develop, implement, and review branches operational policies and procedures aligning with Mersal objectives and current strategy.
  5. Formulate strategic and operational objectives for Operations team.
  6. Provide leadership and direction to the operations department team members and manage all operational activities and tasks.
  7. Manage the department budgets and forecasts on monthly / quarterly basis.
  8. Evaluating branches control system, providing recommendations to ensure continuous improvement of the operational process.
  9. Conduct staff meetings on regular basis to stay connected to all the team members, and work on brainstorming sessions with them to get new ideas for branches operations improvement & development.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relation and connection with all concerned departments, mapping all process intersecting with other departments and ensuring the clarity of the duties & responsibilities of all parties to ensure smooth flow of branches operations.
  11. Develop the reporting system for the team members, and provide follow up & guidance. 
  12. Provide the CEO with operations’ reports on regular basis as requested.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Operations Management, MBA is preferred .
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role, min 8 years .
  • Managerial skills, advanced business skills .
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software .
  • English very good
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Familiarity with business, budgeting and financial principles.
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set operational goals.
  • Excellent strategic planning, Leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
