Job Description

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies for recruiting construction managers and other critical construction-related positions.
  • Lead a team of recruiters and manage day-to-day operations for mass recruitment activities.
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and project timelines.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources to ensure a constant pipeline of skilled candidates.
  • Oversee the development of job descriptions and ensure they align with company needs and industry standards.
  • Use data and recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations in the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews for key leadership roles in construction management.
  • Organize and execute recruitment events such as career fairs, recruitment drives, and job expos.
  • Track and report on recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management.
  • Implement and enforce recruitment best practices to streamline the hiring process and improve candidate experience.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 12-14 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in mass hiring, especially for construction and infrastructure roles.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and its staffing needs.
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume recruitment campaigns for construction-related positions.
  • Experience with recruitment technology and tools (Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, etc.).
