Job Description
Clearinghouse Job Purpose
Enroll new client accounts for clearinghouse services as well as process requests for additional enrollments for established accounts.Process requests for new and established accounts for Enhanced Eligibility Checking. Assist clients with clearinghouse related issues, i.e. troubleshooting, missing ERA’s, etc. Manage clearinghouse information in the Monitor.
Clearinghouse Job Duties
- Processing of Clearinghouse tickets for new client implementations.
- Process requests for new ERA enrollment for established accounts, as well as updating new processes with 3rd parties (i.e. Office Ally, Change Healthcare, Availity)
- Process requests for Enhanced Eligibility Checking for new and established accounts.
- Creating and updating accounts to the Monitor and 3rd party clearinghouses to submit both claims processing and ERA’s
- Assist clients with resetting missing ERA’s
- Record and report relevant software bugs and errors in order to accurately and in a timely fashion address the client’s needs with appropriate information.
- Answer calls and respond to emails to clearinghouse.
- Enter information from all communications with our accounts into the CRM accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure client is kept informed regarding tickets and enrollments.
- Troubleshooting of clearinghouse issues
- Learn the billing processes effectively to assist clients and billing support as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree.
- At least 2 years experience in the American Medical Billing system.
- Very good English with either British or American accent.
- Able to work from office according to Oklahoma's working hours.
- Experience with computers, customer service skills, written and verbal communication, interpersonal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, attention to detail, ability to meet goals.
