Job Description
Responsibilities:
Support the infrastructure Section Head to manage and maintain the core infrastructure (networking, computing and storage) hosting the applications used by the business needs, ensuring it operates as expected to guarantee the continuity of business operations.
Main Tasks:
- Make sure the infrastructure is available and operating as expected.
- Work with the local IT, central help desk and with service providers to perform incident, problem and change management.
- Plan upgrades and proactive maintenance of the infrastructure, assure the external providers are properly engaged and coordinate and monitor their activities.
Job Requirements
- 3 - 6 Years Experience as IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer / Related positions
- BSc. in Computer Engineering / Computer Communication / Computer Science / MIS
- Alexandria resident is a MUST
- Overall knowledge of business processes in an industrial manufacturing company.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work individually and in a team.

- VMWare vSphere
- Storage (NetApp)
- Backup (Simpana CommVault, Acronis)
- WAN networking (MPLS, CDN, VPN)
- LAN and WLAN networking (Cisco, Catalyst, Nexus)
