Job Description
- Ensure your pupils achieve learning outcomes that are above average in the subject of Science by instructing students in a clear, concise and fun way, and regularly preparing lesson plans that are engaging and incorporate the curriculum
- Incorporate the school’s objectives into your curriculum by remaining up to date with mission and initiatives
- Attend staff development days to improve your skills and receive help and feedback from colleagues
- Regularly communicate with parents and legal guardians regarding child’s performance, track and record student progress and keep records up to date for progress reports and report card conferences
- Review curriculum needs and execute plans for improvement, and provide tutoring and additional support
- Analyzing and setting the infrastructure of the science mission and core values for key stages , including but not restricted to the tasks of:
- Strategic development.
- Evaluation of teaching methods.
- Outlining agendas of maintenance and renovation of facilities.
- Incorporating elements of technology.
- Staff recruitment, allocation and professional development.
- Mediating positive information flow across the department and over the department/administration level.
Job Requirements
- Essential: B.Sc. with specialization in a science-related field.
- Desirable: B.Sc. or post-graduate degrees from the faculties of pharmacy or science, preferably with an emphasis on chemistry is preferred
- Experience:
- Essential: Min 5 years of administrative experience.
- Language Skills:
- Essential: B2 level, with demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English.
- Desirable: C1 or above, native or near-native fluency is preferred
- Computing:
- Essential: Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Desirable: Experience in management of distance learning through virtual teaching platforms is preferred
