Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Chemist will be responsible for the chemical lab and help students to conduct experiments in order to analyze substances, develop new products or improve existing ones.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help students to conducts qualitative and quantitative experiments on chemical substances to ensure quality control or develop new products or knowledge
- Help Students to perform a variety of tests and use different techniques to conduct experiments on organic and inorganic compounds.
- Evaluating and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.
- Maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting malfunctions, and purchasing new laboratory supplies.
- Perform related duties as required.
Job Requirements
Person Specifications:
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or any related field,
Years of Experience:
- 4 to 5 years of experience in the same field, preferable with previous experience in Educational field.
Other skills and qualifications:
- Experience in working with students.
- Proficiency with computers and scientific equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Good presentation, documentation, and reporting skills.
