Job Description
- Oversee daily warehouse operations specific to the paints industry, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, deliveries, and shipments.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Enforce strict safety and quality control procedures in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and optimize warehouse layouts and storage solutions to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
- Manage the handling and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with paints industry regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 12 year of experience in warehouse management within the paints industry.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
- Familiarity with handling and storage requirements for paints and related chemicals.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
