Job Description
We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers
to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years experience developing Android apps.
- At least developed 5 android app with different solutions and uploaded to google play store.
- Expert understanding of Java and Android SDK.
- Strong knowledge of Google Material/Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful API and asynchronous web services.
- Experience with agile scrum methodologies.
- Strong object-oriented and architectural skills.
- Experience in Java and Kotlin.
- Experience working with Android frameworks.
- Experience with mobile app testing and security.
- know how to work with remote data via REST APIs
- Comfortable using GIT for version control.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store and Huawei
- Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
- A problem solver with good analytical skills.
- SQL databases as primary storage and NoSQL databases as secondary storage, Redis familiarity
BONUS SKILLS:
- Worked on apps used by a large sector of people in a production environment.
- Have an active Github/Stackoverflow account.
- Have a deep understanding of mobile performance, latency, and security issues.
- Have some experience in a small, startup environment.
- AWS, Terraform, Docker familiarity.
- Node (latest LTS release) familiarity.
- JavaScript (async/await and beyond) familiarity.
- Google Maps, with other API integrations familiarity.
- Vue (preferably with Vue CLI & Vuetify familiarity.
