Job Description
As a Motion Graphics Designer & video editor at PioneersNow, you do more than bringing graphics to life or assemble video footages. You use your strong creative background to create powerful stories that capture an audience and leaves them wanting more. In addition, you have these skills and experiences:
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Respond to user feedback, data/analytics, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations
Job Requirements
- Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, 2D/3D animation, and Finalcut or adobe Premiere pro )
- The ability to partner with other creative team members to create content used across a variety of platforms (Youtube , Facebook , Instagram )
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong project management skills
- Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor and motion graphic designer
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. , Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- BS degree
- Excellent English is a must as you will edit videos with both language English and Arabic
