Job Description
- Help sales team qualify leads by using deep understanding of the product’s ideal customer pain points.
- Write a sales pitch that highlights the product’s features and benefits for instance technical proposals, white papers for products / services, Presentations and case studies.
- Articulate (through written submissions and oral presentations) solutions to both technical and non-technical customers.
- Attending and contributing to strategy meetings held by the marketing team. Their goal is to make sure their pitch is aligned with the marketing campaign.
- Advise on bid / no bid decisions based on technical and commercial considerations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and service offerings and methodologies.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company’s benefit
- Strong knowledge in sizing and estimation techniques such as Story Point, function point and use case point.
- work with the product development teams to capture new customer requirements and develop
- Manage senior client and functional owner relationships for the designated solution.
- Drive the necessary sign-off of the solution with proper input on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and preference
- Participates in the review of existing and creation of future architecture to ensure systems are optimized, high quality and robust.
- Ensures the technical solutions meets the business needs in the most effective, efficient, and technically appropriate way.
- Provide a blueprint for solutions from both a technical and business perspective and expand the product portfolio.
- Works with the Product /Development team to develop technology strategy and road map by researching, evaluating and considering alternative technology options that are available in the market.
- Provide architecture assessment and collaborate with SMEs to Formulate recommendations and implementation plans.
- Ensures timely customer-focused responses to enhancement requests, troubles assistance, and other technical requests.
- Provides thorough technical documentation including design and technical documentation for assigned projects.
- Other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- 10 + years in IT field; 8+ years in a business/systems analysis role or solutions architect role preferred in banking field.
- Proven track record in a pre-sale’s environment within an IT / software solutions business
- Technically skilled with a customer focused mind and excellent communication skills
- Experience in developing and delivering effective presentations
- Ability to work independently and to be proactive
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel within a wide geographical area for client meetings
- Skillful in gathering and analyzing requirements impacting data-intensive applications/systems, and building solutions for satisfying those requirements
- Superior written and oral communication skills as well as meeting facilitation skills
- Experience in system development life cycles and strategic planning for future systems especially Agile Scrum methodology.
- Experience in developing business process modeling.
- Experience in process re-engineering and process improvement.
