Required for one of the biggest export company located in ElShatby, Alexandria Logistics manager :
Job descriptions:
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
- Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or
- exports or customer issues
- Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes,
- product volumes or carriers and report results to others
- Ensure reports, and process documentation is available
Job Requirements
- 10-15 years experience in logistics
- Experience in reefer is a must
- Relevant academic background
- Professional proficiency in English language
- Strong command in MS office
- management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
- Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
- analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations
